- FOUNTAIN CITY® ICE -
In 2017, Nationally accredited bartender Brock Schulte founded Liquid Minded Commissary in Kansas City, producing clear cocktail ice for his London-style bar, The Monarch Bar. What became a premium product for this high-end cocktail bar, became a family-owned operation supplying clear ice to over 20 bars and restaurants in the Kansas City metro area. Now known as Fountain City® Ice, the company has expanded into a commissary kitchen, producing over 20,000 pounds of ice a month, fresh citrus and syrups for bars.

Fountain City® Ice has 3 Clinebell machines in-house. These machines allow ice to be directionally frozen into 300lb blocks, pushing out all of the impurities. This creates crystal clear ice blocks that will then be hand-carved into cubes.
Fountain City® Ice also has a Hoshizaki sphere machine, 1 of only 7 in the United States. Hoshizaki is the leading food and beverage equipment manufacturer in the world. This machine produces 1.8" spheres.
Fountain City® Ice filters all the water for producing ice and fresh syrups via a
4-phase filtration system through Carbon and Coconut husk.
